I need help as you can see the font in the preview is not the default font i would like to know how i can reset it back to default windows font, i already tried to do that but it doesnt reset have any of you had this problem.

Also when i type in any application i.e : internet & other i get the same font i just want the normal(default) font.

If you know how to fix it please tell me it would be greatly appreciated.

A) Open Notepad.

B) Copy and Paste the code below into Notepad.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

"Segoe UI (TrueType)"="segoeui.ttf"
"Segoe UI Bold (TrueType)"="segoeuib.ttf"
"Segoe UI Italic (TrueType)"="segoeuii.ttf"
"Segoe UI Bold Italic (TrueType)"="segoeuiz.ttf"
"Segoe UI Semibold (TrueType)"="seguisb.ttf"
"Segoe UI Light (TrueType)"="segoeuil.ttf"
"Segoe UI Symbol (TrueType)"="seguisym.ttf"

C) In Notepad, click on File (Menu bar) and Save As.

D) Type in a name you would like with a .reg file extension (ex: Default-Fonts.reg), then click on the Save button.

E) Right click the created .reg file and, click on Merge.

F) Click on Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK when prompted.

G) Log off and log on, or restart the computer to apply changes.

Thank you so so much it worked for me i installed zip and restarted my laptop and it was fine thanks alot :). If there is anything i can do for you please let me know anything at all.

1st: Thanks alot for replying so quick appreciated. 2nd: I tried that and it said "cannot impoort C:/etc/filename.reg : The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor."

I did checkout seven forums yesterday and it fixed some problems but as you can see above in the task manager the font remains unchainged (i.e description,tabs,status.). So if any other ideas im open & once again thanks alot for the help :).

The Default Windows font is Segoe UI if you restore that font you should be fine. You can also go here. [link]. Hope this helps...

No. Not at all. The expression "pay it forward" is used to describe the concept of asking the beneficiary of a good deed to repay it to others instead of to the original benefactor.
